QUESTION 1 OF 12
AP CSA Exam Reference Guide: Conditional Logic with if Statements

AP Computer Science A Standards: The if statement allows a program to execute a block of code conditionally, based on the evaluation of a boolean expression. If the expression evaluates to true, the subsequent statement (or block enclosed in {}) executes. Without braces, only the immediately following statement is conditionally executed. Care must be taken not to prematurely terminate an if statement with a semicolon.
